One day AnTonio and C-3usTavo Told me aT school: ‘Rose, have you seen whaT happened in Chile? ’ I answered: "llo, I haven'T ' and They looking concerned, said There was a Terrible earThquake. I was worried, and in ThaT momenT I didn'T search iT on The inTerneT, The only Thing I did was running To Alfredo's sTore, buying a Telephone card To call Ruben. I-Ie answered The phone, I asked him “ how are you? And how is your family? , and how is The counTry? |-le was surprised and said , why are you asking me ThaT? In ThaT momenT I discovered iT was a _joke of my workmaTes. IT was Terrible, because I was _jusT ge'H'ing To know Ruben and I was impulsive, also my workmaTes crossed The line, hahaha! Who would say ThaT years laTer a Terrible earThquckk‘e ' happen in Chile, and _jusT a week afTer we had com ‘ Chile. Who would say iT? "

The TiTle of This anecdoTe is “Broken Telephone". “IT happened some years ago. IT was a winTer midday. IT had been raining all day- I was aT The enTrance of The school. The Telephone rang, I answered iT and iT was Camila's moTher, who was a firsT grade sTudenT. The moTher Told me To Tell her daughTer To go home sTraighT away.
