  • 1. Bharath Channakeshavaiah 2010 Interaction Design, Domus Academy Concepts for the Museaum of Berrocal, Spain.
  • 2. Concept 1
    • Objective:
    • To get the attention of pubic who are not related to the museum
    • To create a communication channel between outside world and inside of museum
    • To market about the museum at the public places through an interactive and entertaining way.
  • 3. Idea
    • An illustrative or a real Berrocal sculpture is placed in public places.
    • The sculpture takes the voices of the public and sends it to the museum.
    • Call it the positive voice and the negative voices or forward move, backward move.
    • Inside the museum, The torso parts come closer with positive voices and go apart from negative voices.
    • Visualization is shown related to the data of the people contributing.
  • 4. Plot
    • The public sculpture could be an illustrative sculpture that could be kept in places like parks.
    • It could be interesting to divide the parts of the sculpture of the Torso corresponding to the one placed in museum and be placed in different spots of a park

    • Or a single sculpture which takes both forward or backward moves on it's right and left side

    • Museum has the Torso parts moving towards each other or away from each other based on a specific quantity of public voices.
    • A visualization is shown inside the museum, which tells about the data of people sending sculpture forward or backward in real time.

  • 11. Concept 2
    • Objective:
    • Educating Visitors inside museum with entertaining and challenging quest.
  • 12. Idea
    • The tickets issued would contain pieces which have recognisable markers.
    • When these markers are shown in front of a dedicated screen, they decode to individual graphical parts of a sculpture
    • Visitor can interact with them and solve the puzzle
    • This could be carried as a memento too

  • 15. Concept 3
    • Objective:
    • To entertain and also to educate visitors inside the Museum, about the techniques and intricacies of Berrocal art.
  • 16. Idea
    • Any visitor who walks in front of this entertaining wall, would see his animated outline of his body being walking along with him, projected on the wall
    • His outline keeps becoming smaller till the halfway of the wall, where his outline enters an animated doorway.
    • When he progresses further, his animation passes through the door and comes out of the door being divided into different parts showing him his composition in accordance with Berrocal's art.
    • The simplistic approach of showing outline of his body could allow an approximated calculation of his divided body parts in accordance with the Berrocal's art.
    • This may also be given as a memento to him in the form of a print on a sheet of paper or as a digital memento.

    • This could be installed in the connecting spaces from one sculpture plot to another sculpture plot.
    • This could also be installed in a dedicated space, emphasizing the educating aspect of this concept.

    • Objective:
    • To attract puzzle community in Spain and educate them about Berrocal art which could be of high interest to them
  • 21. Idea
    • Creating web platform containing challenging puzzles of Berrocal sculpture
    • This is marketed in specific puzzle communities in facebook, Tuenty, etc
    • The data is used in some form of visualization inside the museum.
    • The web platform denotes the visualization inside museum which has the data of the puzzles they solve.
    • This could serve as a strong motivation for puzzle community them to visit the museum.
