  2. 2. The Ear <ul><li>Problem: </li></ul><ul><li>The ear effects balance while it enables </li></ul><ul><li>us to hear. </li></ul>
  3. 3. This organ can be divided into three parts of analysis: Outer, Middle, and Inner.
  4. 4. The Outer Ear <ul><li>Is composed of a flap and the auditory ossicles and the auditory canal. </li></ul>
  5. 5. The Middle Ear <ul><li>Has three tiny bones called the auditory ossicles and the eustachian tube , which links the ear to the nose . </li></ul>
  6. 6. The Inner Ear <ul><li>Contains the spiral-shaped cochlea and also the semicircular canals and the vestibules, which control balance. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Your are studying the ear as a unit in your health class, so you decide to develop a powerpoint slide that names these parts to help you study for a quiz.. Create the slide show in Fig. 2-26 from a blank presentation.
