    2. Wiki
      • The name was based on the Hawaiian term wiki wiki , meaning "quick" or "super-fast" . Sometimes wikiwiki or WikiWiki are used instead of wiki .
      • A single page in a wiki is referred to as a ‘wiki page, ’ while the entire body of pages is called ‘the wiki. ’
      • The world’s largest encyclopedia
      • Launched in 2001
      • T housands of entries in 200+ languages
      Wikipedia as the largest wiki
    3. Why is it a good idea to use Wikis?
      • Asynchronous tool
      • Really quick.
      • Easy to use without knowing HTML – you just need to click on buttons and write entries.
      • Work in collaboration.
    4. What can we do?
      • Allow visitors to add, remove, edit and change content of the page.
      • Link many pages.
      • Follow the changes with RSS Feeds.
      • Publish our students projects – motivation.
      • Add widgets.
      • Add videos.
    5. Make a free wiki as easily as a peanut butter sandwich .
      • You can add;
        • Unlimited pages & unlimited revisions
        • Calendar
