  1. 1. How to make a robot’s arm? Instructions for the Robotics Project By the Polish team eTwinning Bermuda Triangle
  2. 2. Making a robot arm is not very complicated if you follow the instuctions step by step.We have gathered some pictures for you to make the task easier. We hope our hints will be useful!
  3. 3. The two brackets built in this step are used to attachthe arm motor to the turntable base. Attach onebracket first, then attach the arm motor, then attachthe second bracket.
  4. 4. Four wires are needed in this step:Use the shortest wire to connect the touch sensor to port 1 on the NXT. Use oneof the longest wires to connect the claw motor to port C on the NXT. Use one ofthe medium-length wires to connect the turntable motor to port A on the NXT.Use one of the medium-length wires to connect the arm lifting motor to port Bon the NXT.
  5. 5. Use the program Arm Control for the Robot Arm. Thisprogram allows to control the robot arm using theLeft, Right, and Enter buttons on the NXT brick andthe touch sensor button.The Arm Control program allows to control the armusing the buttons. Try making a program of your ownthat controls the arm automatically by itself with apre-programmed sequence of moves.

  7. 7. Attaching the sensors Sensors can be plugged into any input port numbered 1-4.Any wires except the converter wirecan be used to connect the sensors.
