Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519) was one of the greatest artists of the Western world.
His paintings, especially the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper, define what most people
picture as Renaissance art. In addition, Leonardo's restless curiosity about nature,
keen interest in mathematics, and his ingenious designs for mechanical devices
made him the original Renaissance Man.
His masterpiece "The Last Supper" shows Jesus dining with his Apostles the night
before he died. Dan Brown claims that the figure seated at Christ's right is a woman,
specifically, his alleged "wife," Mary Magdalene. But in the painting, this figure is
actually the Apostle John, traditionally depicted as a beardless youth. We know this
from iconography, from Leonardo's sketches for the painting, from the effeminate
way he rendered young men (including John the Baptist), and from a labeled 16th-
century copy.
The Da Vinci Code is a 2003 mystery-detective novel written by Dan Brown. It
follows symbologist Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu as they investigate a
murder in Paris's Louvre Museum and discover a battle between the Priory of Sion
and Opus Dei over the possibility of Jesus having been married to Mary Magdalene.

Combining the detective, thriller, and conspiracy fiction genres, it is Brown's second
novel to include the character Robert Langdon, the first being his 2000 novel Angels
& Demons. In November 2004, Random House published a Special Illustrated Edition
with 160 illustrations. In 2006, a film adaptation was released by Sony's Columbia
Pictures.

We have read the book and after a debate. We think that the book is a fiction
novel presented like a researhing novel, where there are many History and
Religion mistakes. It was a social phenomena. Many people from different
religions have read the novel. Opus Dei said that it was a fantasy.

The legend of the Holy Grail is always identified the Grail as the cup Jesus’s
