  • 2. It’s fun to be eco!It’s popular these days to beeco – in other words, tosegregate wastes and notpolluting the Earth!We must take care of theenvironment that is aroundus and the animals whichlive near us!
  • 3. What can we do athome to help the environment?
  • 4. In order to decrease your negative influence on theenvironment you can do a lot of things at your house: * Turn off the light that you don’t use. Old lightbulbs can be replacedwith the energy saving ones. * Save the water – turn the tap, take a shower instead of using abathtub. * Segregate wastes, recycle. * If your parents want to buy a car tell them to buy the one which fuelconsumption is less. Do not overheat your house in the winter. * Do not „throw out” the pets, that you no longer want to take care of,out of your house. Don’t buy a dog, cat, guinea pig or fish if you are notsure that you will be able to take care of them.
  • 5. What can you do to help protect rainforests?
  • 6. In order to help rainforests:* Do not buy products that are made of skin of wild animals, turtle shells etc. * When you buy exotic pets choose those which are grow in captivity. During theirgrowth the environment was not harmed in any way. What is more, animals grown incaptivity are usually in better shape- you will be able to have fun with them more. * Use recycled paper – which is made of wastepaper. * Do not buy wooden products from Indonesia, Malesia, Brazil or Africa if they are notmade by manufacturers that protect the environment. * Expand your knowledge about rainforests, plants and animals that exist there. Tellyour friends and parents why rainforests are so important.

Invite people to lead the lifestyles thatdo not harm the environment.Key role in the protection of rainforest and naturalenvironment is encouraging people to live lives thatwill not harm the environment in great way. You andyour family can decrease your damaging influence onthe environment by driving cars that don’t use muchpetrol, turning off unnecessary electrical hardware,and recycling used materials.

Supporting firms that do not harm theenvironment.Nowadays, many firm do care about the environment.These businesses are looking for ways to decreasetheir negative influence on the environment by usingrecycled materials, introducing new technologies thatuse less energy, and supporting the protection of thenature in other countries. If the consumers like you andyour parents will support such firms by choosing theirproducts and services they will contribute to theimprovement of the state of environment.
