Why are you here today?
What is value?

“Value is neither use, nor exchange; it is
neither object-based, nor subject-based;
it is neither my view, nor your view:

“Value is dichotomous […], a potential
energy field between us and objects we
need.”
-Shillito and DeMarle (1992)
Value emerges from relationship.
If value emerges from relationships, let’s ask:
In what ways can a human being relate?

Are these dimensions really separable of
one another?
No.
In fact, the point is quite the opposite.
They are inseparable and always occur
simultaneously in any given situation.
Hence, the opportunity for entrepreneurs
to begin to design for this consciously.
So now I’m creating value integrally.
... what’s next?
Ask:
Is there a gap
between the value you create
and the value you communicate?

These are the support slides to a webinar I gave for UnLtd. in July 2013.

The presentation explores a holistic perspective of value, one of the cornerstones of entrepreneurial activity, and how a deepened understanding of it can be helpful for entrepreneurs. Participants will learn how use the 'Integral Value Framework' to analyse existing offerings and how to use it creatively to improve current and come up with new services.
