  4. 4. Packing up the attic was always going to dredge oldmemories. It was the last box to be sifted through; anold battered card board box lay lonesome in the corner.Coated with a thick powdery layer of dust and cobwebs,it was unrecognisable. Lifting the lid, nostalgia hit me: aRington’s tea chest. Grandma.Carefully opening the chest, I heard a tiny tinkle of anold lullaby. Warmth filled me as a saw the perfect glassball sleeping, waiting to be found, peacefully in a bed ofsoft cotton wool. A crackling coal fire, cups of cocoaand Christmas carols; I associated this with all of these.Every Friday night the globe would accompanyus to sleep. Innocent recollections came flooding back.
