  • 1. Script Frenzy 2012• An international writing event• Participants from around the world attempt the creatively daring feat of writing an entire script in the month of April.• Run by an organisation in Oakland, California, USA – Office of Letters and Light (OLL)
  • 2. Script Frenzy Rules• Script Frenzy lasts from 1st April – 30th April 2012• You will learn what a script is and how to write one before the Frenzy begins• You can plan, plot, and outline your script before April• You can’t actually start writing your script until 1st April• You must finish your script by midnight on 30th April• Quantity is more important than quality until April is over• You can write about anything you’d like• You can choose to write a script for a play, a movie, a TV show, or a comic book/graphic novel• You will set your own page-count goal• You can work on your own or with a partner

  • 4. Be Ready for Next Week...• Start to look at examples of the type of script you are going to be writing• Start thinking about plots and characters
