Eastside SKYWARN Weather Spotter Training Hosted by: Bellevue Office of Emergency Management Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond Date: Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Time: 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm Place: South Bellevue Community Center 14590 SE Newport Way, 98009 Maximum attendance 70; First come, First serve! The National Weather Service will train new or veteran weather spotters, including interested citizens, amateur radio, CERT, citizen corps, law enforcement, fire, transportation and public works staff, on how to look for and report significant event-driven weather events. Training in- cludes video demonstrations and discussion. Email RSVP: Vernon Owens, CEM at Vowens@bellevuewa.gov, and place Weather Spotter in the subject line.
