  • Beerli Sally Smith , Educator at Secondary School @hudali15 As I said on my blog I was starting to work out last year what these students really need and they like it fast! They like videos and cool powerpoints .I can thank @slideshare and slideshare friends for the compliment I got from my students about having the best Powerpoints of any teacher! The thing which interests me is there is now a marked generation gap between one year level and the next and the year 12s are so different from the year 8s. Every 3 years they are totally different so yes, I have to keep moving. This is the start to looking at what they need in more depth. 4 months ago Reply

    you remind me of the Red Bee Effect. You have to move as fast as a red bee just to stay where you are and not advance to the rear. The digital natives have even more stringent needs. This the video shows elegantly
