Import avchd footage from my canon hg10 camcorder to fcpx on mac os x lion
Import AVCHD footage from myCanon HG10 camcorder to FCPX onMac OS X Lion“I have a Canon HG10 that shoots AVCHD high def footage. I’ve alwaysgotten it to import footage into final cut pro 7 and iMovie (beforeswitching to osx lion) Now that I have final cut pro X, I try to add thecamcorders files into the import bin and it gives me an error saying thefollowing:“AVCHD” contains unsupported media or has an invalid directorystructure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supportedmedia.I tried the “log and transfer” in the old previous version of final cut pro(which always worked for me before installing lion) and it also gives mean error. Same thing with iMovie now.Is there some way I can get this to import into final cut pro X? If not, isthere any other 3rd party transfer program or any other solution to get myfootage onto my hard drive to edit in final cut pro X?”Do you have the same pronlem, if you have you can read this Tips tosolve.Convert Sony HD Camera MTS files into FCPX
