Environmental CommitmentSince 2010 Noble Estate’s vineyards have beencertified LIVE Sustainable and Salmon Safe.LIVE, Low Input Viticulture and Enology, has arigorous certification process which includesanalyzing plant tissue samples. Noble Estate ispassionate about growing grapes in a way thatensures the terroir and local ecosystems areprotected for the future.Noble Estate’s sustainable practices include:•Controlling vineyard weeds with mowing andcultivation.•Using organic fertilizers to enrich the soil.•Using cover crops to return organic matter andnutrients to the soil and eliminate erosion.•Erecting owl houses and hawk perches to helpreduce insect and rodent populations.•Recycling solid grape waste.•Conserving water in the vineyard.
