Steve has taken multiple start-ups from concept, to first sales, to high growth, to commercial sale with no funding, angel funding, and venture funding. Steve's strength is startup sales, sales strategy, sales channel development, marketing and operations with insights into leveraging corporate strengths and moving fast while providing a superior customer experience. As an executive and operator Steve has started, grown, and sold products and services businesses to McAfee, Launch Technologies, NetIQ, Xcelerate, and Computer Associates. As an angel investor, Steve’s investments include Silverpop, Oversight Systems, Image Analyzer, Nexedia, QCept, Servigistics, AirSage, and CollectorDASH. His expertise spans enterprise and security software, SaaS, internet technologies, and mobility. Steve looks for businesses with “white spaces to grow into” begin run by committed operators with great potential. Steve is a founder and Director of the Wireless Technology Forum, Director of the Executive Sales and Marketing Association, past President of Southeastern Software Association, and a founder and past Director of TAG. Steve is also a mentor at the Georgia Institute of technologies Advanced Technology Development Center and Flashpoint and as well as to some of the hottest start-ups in Atlanta.
