  • 3. Purpose and Objective:
    • To explain the successes of the Dock and explain the challenges it faces.
    • To make recommendations for future development of the youth centre
    • For the document to serve as a resource for the Youth Centre and for communities beginning to develop their own youth centers

  • 5. Planning for the Future
  • 6. Purpose:
    • To begin and outline a plan for creating walks in Islandeady.
      • The community has identified a need for walks and would like to create well-planned, safe, educational, and enjoyable places for people to socialize and exercise.
    • The walks would potentially:
      • Draw attention to the rich environment (natural and historical)
      • Attract additional attention from outside the community
      • Increase tourism
      • Used for educational purposes
      • Aid in preservation and conservation of assets in Islandeady
      • Increase general well being and community pride
