Your taxes remain unchanged as jet fuel is included in the highway tax code which did not expire. However, if you use AVGAS, read on. When the FAA operating authority ended because the FAA was not re-authorized, certain aviation taxes which fund the Air- port and Airway Trust Fund were im- pacted. I won’t break out the taxes by name but what this means to you bottom line is that two of the taxes combined equaled $0.194 per gallon.
