Fair trade

 1. 1. By Chris Grain, Ryan Keepin and Bradley Trott
 2. 2. Why is fair trade needed

Fair trade is needed because supermarkets trade unfairly for example if you wanted cheap coffee the supermarket will source a farmer and say for every bottle we sell we give you 20p the reason they don’t say no is because they need the money and if they try to get a higher pay the shops will move somewhere else so the fair trade scheme was introduced so that every one gets a fair amount of the money.

 3. 3. Why you should buy fair trade

I think people should buy fair trade because the people actually making the product will get the money they deserve rather than the shipping companies also fair trade doesn't just go to far flung countries that make coffee and chocolate but also sometimes local British farmers don’t get paid fairly and that could be people you know being paid unfairly by big brands like Tesco or ASDA.
