  5. 5. Opening Acid Pro Step 1: Click on Start Step 2: Rollover All Programs Step 3: Rollover Sony Step 4: Rollover Acid Express Step 5: Click on Acid Express
  6. 6. Finding Loops Step 1: Double Click “My Computer” Step 2: Double Click “(C:)” Step 3: Double Click “Documents and Settings” Step 4: Double Click “users”
  7. 7. Finding Loops cont. Step 5: Double Click “My Documents” Step 6: Double Click “Acid” Step 7: Double Click “Loops” Step 8: Double Click on Collection of Choice
  8. 8. Listening to Loops Step 1:Click on Folder Step2: Click on Loop and Listen Tip: Green Bars will be jumping up and down if Loop is selected. Step 3: Click and drag Loops to Track List
  9. 9. Basic Tools Draw Tool: Draws Loop onto Track Erase Tool: Erases Loop from Track Multipurpose Slider: Adjusts Volume of Loop Play from start Play Pause Stop Back to the Beginning Go to the End
  10. 10. Render As… Step 1: Click on File Step 2: Click on Render As….
  11. 11. Render As… Step 1: Choose Kids work folder Tip: Have a music folder already set up Step 2: Type File Name: Area Code + Initials Step 3: Choose MP3 Audio File Step 4: Click Save

Guidelines <ul><li>“ Be Great” Theme </li></ul><ul><li>Upbeat </li></ul><ul><li>Lyrics encouraged but not required </li></ul><ul><li>Length: 30-90 seconds </li></ul><ul><li>Must use digital music-making software </li></ul><ul><li>Lyrics must be submitted as a Word document </li></ul><ul><li>Lyrics must not contain objectionable material </li></ul><ul><li>Music must be .mp3 format </li></ul><ul><li>Title: Club Zip code, artist initials (e.g., 98033ZW.mp3) </li></ul><ul><li>Age Categories: 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-18 </li></ul><ul><li>All Submissions are due by February 28 th , 2010 </li></ul>
