  •  MyCreditsBC MyCreditsBC provides B.C. public post-secondary students with the ability to easily retrieve an unofficial course record from institutions they have attended. They can then view course-by-course transferability, according to Transfer Agreements maintained by the Council of Admissions & Transfer (BCCAT). Transcript information is retrieved in real time from each connected institution’s student information system the moment a request is made.  Transcript Exchange The pilot Transcript Exchange service has been developed to demonstrate the efficiencies available by replacing paper transcripts with electronic versions when official student transcripts are exchanged between participating institutions. This standards-based mechanism is currently in production for Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Simon Fraser University. Plans are underway to extend implementation to University of British Columbia, Langara College and University of the Fraser Valley. Shibboleth Federated Identity With a federated identity, students, faculty and staff can use BCcampus connector services using one secure credential, eliminating the need for separate usernames and passwords. BCcampus is implementing Shibboleth on its shared services, thereby extending the capability of the BCcampus connector system. For smaller institutions that may not have the resources to install a Shibboleth system themselves, BCcampus can offer technical expertise and a template for implementation.
