  • Report Manager - Allows the creation of new reports, but ONLY from existing Accpac data sets. It also allows editing of existing standard reports including filtering and aggregating of data – which is licensed per workstation. It also supports auto-emailing reports, scheduling reports, and publishing report output to html for intranet/internet. This is what users get for free. So it replaces FRX and they get the additional functionality of report distribution options The next module is the Report Viewer – This allows users to run reports in real time, change report parameters at run time and drill-down to detail. Cannot edit or change reports and/or report templates. Similar to the FRx drill down viewer, they can change run time, but all they can do is run the report. Report Designer - The Designer is an extension to SAI module. This is the Excel Add in. The Designer allows you generate financial statements from predefined lists in seconds. The pre-defined lists are a starting point so you don’t have to create your own reports from scratch. You do however, have the option and ability to edit existing those reports, or you can create new financial layouts. This is done using drag and drop functionality, giving you total report design flexibility
  • The coolest module is the connector. This is your gateway that connects all the data in your entire system. It allows real time financial and non-financial consolidations as well as connectivity to any ODBC data sources i.e. CRM, HR, and additional ERP companies. It also facilitates creation of SQL queries using a graphical join tool. You can also create SQL expressions. For prospect demonstrations, this is the real ‘ooo’ ‘ahhh’ factor. And of course, security parameters flow from Accpac into SAI Those are all the modules, let’s loo at how those modules are structured…
