TheRevenue estimates are 17percent higher than they were in Q3 2009. Posted by Leah McBride Mensching on November 17, 2010 at 4:20 PM "Advertisers are shifting more of their brand messaging online, accounting for this welcome surge in a difficult economy," David Silverman, a partner at PwC, said in a statement. "This trend reflects the accelerating shift in consumer behavior towards the internet and away from traditional media." The IAB Internet Advertising Revenue Report is sponsored by the IAB, and is conducted independently by the New Media Group at PwC.

We believe most of thesebudgets are allocated to search, andretail could account for as much as20% of total search spend. ConsumerPackaged Goods is one of the largestoverall advertising categories, but hasbeen somewhat slow to move budgetsonline since larger individual buys withsignificantly larger audiences are stillmore easily made on traditional medialike TV. However, as more consumers spend their time online and larger buys becomeincreasingly available, CPG has started to move more of their budgets online, resultingin 60%-plus growth during 2008.

Overall e-commerce industry is poised to experience a high growth inthe next couple of years. The 70 percent year on year growth is expected to continueand India’s e-commerce market is forecast to reach a whopping $US 10 billion by theend of 2011.The e-commerce market in India was largely dominated by the onlinetravel industry with 80% market share while electronic retail (E-Tailing) held secondspot with 6.48% market share.
