This book has so much information in it. First of all, it tells you which
manufacturers are selling in your state, that's the first way it narrows things
down for you. Then, it gives you their website information so that you can
see sample floorplans and exteriors. Finally, it gives you a rundown on
their background (how long in business) who their affiliates are (if any),
how it stands out in comparison to others along with an overall
construction rating of 1 to 10. He tells you what you want to look for in a
whole slew of categories that anyone shopping would want to know, for
example: Aesthetics Exterior/Interior, roof pitch, floor decking, front door,
rear door, water piping, electrical and subcategories, kitchen and
subcategories, etc. At the beginning of the book he tells you how to use
the book and how the ratings were calculated. There is so much
information, but it is presented in such a simple way that it's not
overwhelming or difficult for the layman to absorb.
