A beautifully illustrated and very informative book that details bamboo
types, growing conditions and best of all, how to turn this wonderful plant
into useful projects. The gates, in particular, inspire the reader to get right
out there and build them because they are such a worth while and
gorgeous addition to any garden. Smaller projects, such as garden
trellises, are entirely manageable and the furniture building ideas spark
creativity. I built a a 6 foot wide by 5 foot tall trellis to support peas that
has really added to the beauty of my vegatable garden and elicits great
comments from neighbors and passers-by alike. I need to add that the
book was so fairly priced I couldn't pass it up.
