Personal Review: The Business of Writing for Children: An
Award-Winning Authors Tips on Writing Childrens Books and
Publishing Them, or How to Write, Publish, and Promote a Book
for Kids by Aaron Shepard
With 25 published books (and a few awards thrown in), I thought I probably
knew all I needed to know about writing books for children. How wrong I
was! I happened accidentally to find THE BUSINESS OF WRITING FOR
CHILDREN WHILE BROWSING AMAZON, and thought to myself, "Why
not?", and ordered a copy. It was the best idea I've had in a very long
time. I KNOW this book is going to help me with further books, and with
the market as tough as it's getting to be, I think we writers and wannabe
writers need all the help we can get. I can't recommend Aaron Shepard's
book highly enough. Run, don't walk, to the nearest order form, and order
a copy. You won't regret it! - Barbara Brooks Wallace, who wrote
PEPPERMINTS IN THE PARLOR, and other books.
