I can't help but wonder....did any of the people about which this book was written receive any kind of financial assistance from the proceeds of this book? God, how I hope so. If Coco is still living in a roach infested apartment, I just don't think I could sleep at night. The author formed such a bond with these people, I just hope that their willing participation helped them better their situations, and their childrens'.
