Personal Review: PMP Exam Prep, Fifth Edition: Ritas Course in
a Book for Passing the PMP Exam by Rita Mulcahy
Although the exam will change July 1st and you'll have to purchase Rita's
new study guide for the 4th Edition PMBOK, I found the 5th Edition vital to
passing the current exam. I passed yesterday by reading her book 3 times
and reviewing as needed. The book has a very "tough love" philosophy
where you're asked several times if you can do something and if you don't
know how you're told point blank you won't pass the exam. Don't bother
reading the PMBOK it only covers about 30% of what's on the exam. I am
not kidding, it may help you know what the process groups and knowledge
areas are but it will not be enough to pass the exam. I highly recommend
Rita's books.
