    2. Have you ever tried to take a yoga class and felt like an alien in the room? Have you ever been so frustrated in a yoga class because the positions seem impossible? Have you ever felt like you were the only one in the room who "doesn't get it?" Well, I have many times, but not since I began taking yoga with teacher Diana Lang. Diana has an extraordinary gift for teaching backed by her expertise in meditation and spiritual practice. Her gifts as a teacher allow her to make everyone in her classes feel like they belong. Her emphasis on breath and the practice of yoga make us all feel as though we can accept ourselves as we are, where we are. There is a sense of peace that accompanies such practice and Diana's keen ability to share her energetic force with her class, truly makes her yoga classes unlike any other experience I have had. I know I would not be alone when I say that Diana's beauty and grace fills the room with such a light, that we are all able to see, through her, the true principles of yoga, mediation, and spiritual practice. There are no "absolutes" or "musts" in Diana's class. She asks that we meet the pose where we are, that we don't force our bodies to move in ways in which they are not able. Diana reminds us that our breath is the "bridge between the soul and the self" We are blessed to have a teacher with such natural insight and genuine compassion. In addition to her dedication to her students, her innate beauty and light give us an extra bonus, as she shares her vast knowledge with us about the practice of yoga. Anyone who knows Diana would agree that she is truly special with a unique gift of making all her students feel that there is hope and light--mentally, physically, and spiritually. What makes Diana Lang special? All you need to do is attend one her classes, and you will have the answer right away.
