More Classics To Read Aloud To
Your Children by William F. Russell
Even Better Than The First!
Gives parents and other adult readers the help they need to share the joy
of reading. Contains 42 stories, poems, and excerpts from novels and
plays, divided into 3 listening levels. Even better than the first edition--and I
loved that. A must book for every reading parent and teacher!--Jim
Trelease, author of The Read-Aloud Handbook Line drawings.
Personal Review: More Classics To Read Aloud To Your
Children by William F. Russell
This is a great book to have on your shelves if you like to read aloud to
your kids. It is a compilation of stories arranged according to age-
appropriate listening levels. Some of the stories, particularly the longer
ones, are only excerpts; hopefully, your child will want to read the entire
story on his own after hearing you read aloud the portion in this book. I
have read aloud many books to my kids and this is one of my favorites. All
stories are well-known and by well-known authors. If you like this book, try
its companions: Classics to Read Aloud to Your Children, and Classic
Myths to Read Aloud.
