Look Both Ways: City Math (I Love
Math) by Time-Life Books
Great!
A collection of stories, poems, riddles, games, and hands-on activities to
develop early math skills by demonstrating how math is all around us in
everything we do.
Personal Review: Look Both Ways: City Math (I Love Math) by
Time-Life Books
I love this book! My son, who is five, has found this book to be interesting
repeatedly, on the different days that we have tried it. It is a welcome
addition to carob chip math (addition and subtraction), and has enough
different activities to keep him interested. My son is an active and hands-
on learner. It reinforces concepts of odds and evens, patterns, ordinal
numbers, grids, and memory work. There are puzzles, games, maps. And
on the front and back insides, there are a couple game boards with
instructions. Very fun and educational.
