In the Land of the Big Red Apple is a GREAT book! Rose begins to adjust
to her new home in Missouri at Rocky Ridge Farm. She gets a new
donkey named Spookendyke for her ninth birthday, a huge ice storm hits,
she gets to celebrate her first real Christmas in the Ozarks, and her
parents bulid a new house.
