This book is informative, interesting and a great aid for a beginner, and
perhaps for more advanced players, as well. It is full of very nteresting
historical information and illustrations for wooden and bamboo flutes.
As I am a rank beginner, I can only speak from that frame of reference.
But I definitely think you should give it a try, if you are interested in playing
the flute.
