How I Survived Being a Girl is a wonderful book for girls and some boys.
It's a hilarious book to read!!!! It talks about a girl named Carolyn and how
she is the only girl in the family beside her mom. So she has to play boy
games, but she doesn't really mind it. She is always giving you tips
throughout the story for you to stay away from. For example: Keep your
hair to short for ribbons; get a great dog; avoid girls with Mary Janes, and
spy on your neighbor. She talks about peer pressure, and feels enough
peer pressure to steal a book. But she brings the book back. I would
definitely recommend it for all ages. I like the book so much I finished it in 2
days. I like this book also because it is so funny and has real life stories.
So if you like funny and real life stories this book is definitely for you. I give
this book 2 thumbs up!!!!
