I recommend this book to music teachers who teach young children and
preschool and pre-k teachers for a few reasons:
1. Gets kids moving and feeling the beat
2. Lets kids be silly while exploring their acting skills and the characteristics
of lots of animals
3. Kids will love it and ask for it time and time again!
I used this book in my preschool and pre-k music classes and the kids
asked for it every week! You don't need a music background to teach this
book just pop in the cd and call out the animals and show them the
pictures (and demonstrate some animal dances to get them started) The
kids will do the rest and they will have a blast! And you will be teaching
rhythm, beat, acting skills, and about animals!
