If you want to teach a second grader some basic math in half a year, this is
a right book. We don't need three to five years to teach basic math. So skip
the lengthy (and maybe even distracting) textbooks. Use this concise book

as a guideline. This is achievable for bright kids. Maybe this is an
unconventioal use of the book.
