    • REFORM OF TECHNICAL REGULATION The reform involved more than 40 federal bodies of executive power. Reforming systems are: accreditation, certification, standardization, control and surveillance, metrology . Should be reviewed : 90 laws, 800 existing Russian government decrees, 12,000 sectoral normative regulations.

    • OBJECTIVES OF RSPP’S COMMITTEE ON TECHNICAL REGULATION, STANDARDIZATION AND CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT
      • The main objectives:
      • Involvement of industry in the technical regulation reform
      • Coordination of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs efforts in the reform of technical regulation and standardization
      • Implementation of cooperation with industry associations, government bodies
      • Organization of International Cooperation on technical regulation

    • ROLE OF THE COMMITTEE IN THE REFORM OF TECHNICAL REGULATION Interaction with ministries and agencies to test the mechanism of regulations’ using; Clarifying the mechanism of regulations’ action (by regular organization of regional conferences) Provide feedback between industry representatives and various ministries and government agencies that are responsible for implementing regulations ; Creating interbranch consuls for Standardization ; Reorganization of the TC on Standardization (involving a wide circle of industry representatives with support of Rosstandart) Increased participation of russian industry representatives in the work of ISO and IEC; Examination of drafts (the Committee has more? then 2 technical experts) Development of new drafts, creation and bring consensus to the industry representatives and government bodies; IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNICAL REGULATIONS FORMATION OF THE EVIDENCE BASE REGULATIONS: STANDARDS AND CODES DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
