In September the U.S. imported 357 million barrels of oil at a cost of 25 billion dollars to foreign nations. We imported 63 percent of the oil we used in September which is up three percentage points from August.
Energy goes hand in hand with our national security.
By using CNG on our heavy vehicles we can reduce our imported petroleum use by 5-9 percent immediately.
