History of Athletes’ Oasis ® Like ten’s of millions of other runners and walkers John R. Hobbs tried carrying a single water bottle while training and felt the negative effect caused by the imbalance so he quit carrying water and stopped properly addressing his hydration needs. Feeling the adverse effects from not staying properly hydrated ,such as, lack of performance, slower recovery times and feeling more fatigued after a run the solution came to him while running for our balanced water bottle system. Patent #6,152,862 issued November 28, 2000. Athletes’ Oasis Trademark #3,162,668 registered October 24, 2006. Patent #US 7,172,533 B2 issued on February 6, 2007. We spent 9 years in development and debuted our first model in February of 2006. Our test launch was successful. However, we made adjustments based upon user market feedback. Specifically, we eliminated the four different-sized padding (sku’s),added the comfortable strap, so now one size fits all and making the trigger easier to use.
