    Pitch:
    The relative highness or lowness of a sound
    Note:
    A symbol that represents a pitch
  • 5. Same note…different pitches
  • 6. Not all instruments have pitch….
    But we will learn more about that later.

    Pitch is a vibration
    For example, American bands and orchestras tune to “A440”, which means that the note vibrates 440 times in one second.
    Lower pitch = less vibrations
