We hadfour plants in east zone.ü  Planed the change over on packaging machine as per change in SKU(Stock Keeping Unit) manufactured in each plant and ensure theavailability of spares.

ACHIEVEMENTSProduction, Bharat Electronicsü  Successfully completed the assembly andquality operations of Flight and Mission CriticalEquipment’s of 50 LCAs (Tejas) Aircrafts Before-time,On-Quality this made into national news.For achieving this I implemented LEAN manufacturing conceptsin addition to SPC, Process improvement, TPM and Proactive and agilescheduling.ü  Enhanced the productivity per operator by about 25% within 6 months byimplementing Lean approach this contributed to a savings of about 5lakhs per month.This was achieved by reducing un-necessary WIP and LEANconcepts.ü  Completed manufacturing of prestigious DFCC (Digital Flight ControlComputer), main computer of LCA (Tejas) - India’s Indigenous FighterAircraft, which also made its successful maiden test flight on LSP-3 anddelivered it On-Time. It was of great importance when the overall Tejasproject is getting delayed and each delay is costing a heavy price.For this Six sigma process tools along with LEAN manufacturingconcepts were utilized.

ACHIEVEMENTSQuality, Bharat Electronicsü  Completed FAI (First Article Inspection) forBoeing Data link II project, and delivered it On-Timefor which Boeing gave appreciation, which madenews in National Level News Papers.A through training was give to related inspectors, proactivevendors assessments were carried out and were trained in FAI process.ü  Devised an effective Corrective Action/Preventive Action procedure, whichincluded clearly defining RCA (Root Cause Analysis) technique which isamong best practices of Bharat Electronics Ltd and published on corporatewebsite.It was an improvement suggested by external AS9100 auditor tomake CA/PA a robust and mistake proof procedure, hence DGM, QM gave usthe responsibility and we formulated the procedure.ü  Optimized process of Acrylic Conformal coating up-to 6 Sigma levelthrough SPC and “Kaizen” within a year.It was ahieved through SPC and Six Sigma tools.
