  • 2. Why create an ebrary account?Allows you to:• Download ebooks• Save ebooks to your own “bookshelf” that youcan refer back to• Highlight text and take notes in ebooks• Save and organize your research
  • 3. How to create an account:• On the ebrary search page, click on “Sign In”• On the next page, select theblue “Create an account” link
  • 4. After creating an account, you candownload ebooks!2 ways to download:In sections• Download up to 60 pages at a time• No special software needed – downloads as a PDFfile.Whole ebook• Download the entire book for 14 days only• Must have Adobe Digital Editions software (availableonline for free download – linked from the ebrarydownload window)
  • 5. How to download ebooksWhen looking at a book of interest, simply click on theDownload buttonOptions:• Download a PDF document of a chapter orselect specific pages to download (limit up to 60pages at a time)• Download the entire book to Adobe DigitalEditions for 14 days
  • 6. Alternative to downloading: Addebooks to your bookshelf• Create your own virtual library of ebooks! Click onthe Add to My Bookshelf button• Notes and highlighting you have done are saved andeasily accessible• Ebooks saved to your bookshelf can be accessed aslong as you have an accountImage source: public domain image
  • 7. Highlight in ebooks• Point your mouse tothe beginning of thesection you want tohighlight, click anddrag across entiresection to behighlighted• Then click on the highlight button*You must be signed in to your ebrary account*
  • 8. Take notes in ebooks• Click on InfoTools,then Create Note• Type notes in thenote box and clickOK• Resize and movethe box as needed
