5. 5. - "I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies, for the hardest victory is over self." ~Aristotle
 6. 6. Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you too can become great. ~Mark Twain
 7. 7. - Only aim to do your duty, and mankind will give you credit where you fail. ~Thomas Jefferson (Third president of the U.S.)
 8. 8. There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences. ~P. J. O’Rourke (an American political satirist, journalist, writer and author)

390525-123825
For my picture, I chose the King of Hearts as the main feature. He is a symbol in our society as having power over the heart and what the heart feels. I thought he was an appropriate symbol for these human strengths and weaknesses. I adjusted the picture so that half was black and white and the other had color. This represents the benevolent and selfish sides of a person. We’re like zebras equally black and white, terrible and angelic, and overly, there’s not much we can do about it. The quotes I included are a couple examples of different views when concerning human flaw. Generally by people I’ve never heard of… which is sad because they seem to be incredibly wise.
381004810125
