ANNA KOSTENKO

Anna Kostenko was born in 1975 in Kiev, Ukraine, and has lived and worked in Cracow, Poland since 1991. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she studied painting from 1993 to 1998. She has had three exhibitions of works of art in Jorgensen and created many beautiful paintings since its release in 1999. Her fascination with different cultures has led to extensive travels that inspire her work, which has been shown in many countries, including Poland, France, Germany, Ireland and Spain.

Joy Owens i paint but i cant draw so when i told my husband that these so called paintings were digitally imposed from a picture he did not believe me until we found others on goggle claiming the same. some of these 'paintings' had so many distracting digitally imposed pinpoints that it was difficult to actually see and enjoy the colors. TREG01 As a real Artist I am really shocked to see that so many people are being made fools of... These are Digitaly stujffed around with photos nothing else, Fraud (Put your glasses on and have a real look) Even the greatest Artists in the world are not photoperfect 'Get real!' It is people like this that give real painters a bad name, Today it is becoming a virus, give some one a digital photo and Photoshop or Photopaint and wow a new masterpiece is born, IDIOT you just took every real artist down to the grade of worm and below, I love painting and I'm not bad so I'm told but these shysters are a cancer that makes me want to remove them from the Art world permanently, I have no more time for this person or this subject, Fraud makes us struggling Artists struggle harder, 'WAKE UP!' 2 years ago

BulbAustralia Thats why the photo of the island castle (photo 6) has terrible UV haze in it. Its a photograph.
In another so called work why would you paint a beautiful castle (photo 16) and the road leading to it with beautiful lamos and then put ugly road signs on the posts. The one with the setting sun has lens cause light refraction Because it is also a photo....
I've spent hundreds of hours photographing these types of scenes esp at night and the imperfections are issues I always try to resolve on sight while taking the shots...
The only possibilty I can give to these being paintings is its an air brushed painting of photos done on quite a huge scale. I don't think thats likely.... 2 years ago

youkaygreen Art 37 - they ARE photos, just a few minutes of google research will tell you there are two Anna Kostenko's. The pictures shown are obviously from the photographer. 2 years ago
