Page 3What is Personal Value…?• A value is belief, a mission, or a philosophythat is meaningful. Whether we consciouslyaware of them or not, every individual has acore set o f personal value from thecommonplace, such as the belief in hard workand punctuality , to the more, physiological, such as self reliance, concern for other andharmony of purpose.
Page 4Classification Of valueGerman philosopher Eduard Spranger proposed sixkind of value. Such are…1) Theoretical: Interest in discovery of truth, usecognitive approach, relative disregard to theutility of the objects . Eg scientist, philosopher .2) Economical: More interest in business affairsmarketing, production, use of economicresource etc. He is mainly a practical person.
