“A 2020 Vision for the Black Sea Region” is the Final Report of the Commission on the Black Sea. It has been published on 17 May 2010.
The 70-page document presents the findings of the Commission in four key areas: peace and security, economic development and welfare, democratic institutions and good governance, as well as regional cooperation.
The Commission on the Black Sea initiative was launched in 2009 by the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey of Ankara (TEPAV), and the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), Athens. The report summarises the outcome of a series of meetings bringing together policy makers, scholars and practitioners.
