It will serve asthe basis for two in–class 100 point, fiveparagraph essays.The mode of writingwill be a Critical Analysis. The topic of theessay will be based your individual under-standing of the literary piece you have se-lected. The purpose for writing a critique is toevaluate somebodys work (a book, an essay, amovie, a painting...) in order to increase thereaders understanding of it.A critical analysis is subjective writing be-cause it expresses the writers ( your) opinionor evaluation of a text.
