Prime Minister Sushil Koirala today vowed to take action against those involved in MBBS
scholarship question paper leak.
Calling the wrongdoings unforgivable, Prime Minister Koirala said that eligible and talented
candidates should be given fair opportunity to study medicine.
On December 6, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had arrested
several people on charge of selling MBBS question papers.
The Ministry of Education conducts the MBBS scholarship exam.
Addressing the second convocation ceremony of National Academy of Medical Sciences, the
prime minister advised young students to not resort to wrong path to enter the medical
profession.
Koirala claimed that the country’s internal conflict and political instability were responsible for
the state’s failure in playing regulatory role.
