  3. 3. Brokerage background• The Brokerage was set up to: – Promote the use of cloud and off site data centre facilities – By reducing the hurdles to adoption – To create efficiencies (save the sector money)

  5. 5. Challenges in HE• Consumer IT is cloud driven• Student experience is a major business driver• Cloud adoption and governance is formative• Technology and purchasing change• Integrating clouds is not always straightforward• Fear of vendor lock in
