  • Wspierane tryby przechowywania danych Dane w hurtowniach danych zorganizowane sa w postaci wielowymiarowego modelu danych. Model wielowymiarowy składa sie z: − faktów – okreslajacych informacje, które sa poddawane analizie np. sprzeda produktu, − wymiarów – charakteryzujacych miary w których podawane sa wyniki przetwarzania danych np. Ilość sztuk produktu. • Wymiary ustalaja kontekst analizy np. analiza sprzeday towarów w poszczególnych miesiacach lub wg. lokalizacji,itp. • Wymiar może być wielopoziomowy np. oddział, miasto, województwo. Modele Przechowywania • MOLAP (Multidimensional Online Analytical Processing) - implementacja w bazach wielowymiarowych, dane przechowywane w wielowymiarowych tabelach (tzw. kostkach),. • ROLAP (Relational Online Analytical Processing) – implementacja w bazach relacyjnych, fakty i wymiary przechowywane sa w tabelach relacyjnych,. • HOLAP (Hybrid Online Analytical Processing) – implementacja hybrydowa, dane podstawowe przechowywane w tabelach relacyjnych, dane zaagregowane przechowywane w kostkach. 10

It can be used from any platform and in any language which support HTTP and XML • OLE DB for OLAP - Extension of OLEDB.
