  3. 3. <ul><li>About the Producer: The People’s Concert Since 1998, The People’s Concert has worked on over 100 events per year and we have a rich history of fundraising and event production, often working side by side with the City of Los Angeles.  Our first event took place in 1998, when Mayor Richard Riordan called upon us to help the unfortunate victims of Hurricane Mitch.  Subsequent notable events include: benefits for The Los Angeles County Firefighters Memorial, The Stop Foundation, and The Manny Mota Foundation. The People’s Concert is also a proud founder of The Long Beach Crime Prevention Fair that runs annually at The Queen Mary, now at the helm of the Long Beach Police Department , other events include, Oscar Night America Los Angeles, the only sanctioned event in L.A. by the Academy of Motion Pictures. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Fred Zermeno

The USO operates without subsidies from the U.S. Government.
